Dicteren via globale sneltoets

Eén toetscombinatie start en stopt de opname. De herkende tekst gaat rechtstreeks naar het actieve venster, of dat nu je browser, mailprogramma of editor is. Geen vensters wisselen, geen handmatig plakken.

Meetings opnemen

Systeemaudio plus microfoon: VoxCast legt Zoom, Meet, Teams, WhatsApp en elke andere app vast en maakt er lokaal een transcript met tijdstempels van.

AI-verfijning

Maak van je dictaat een kant-en-klare e-mail of opgeruimde tekst. Optioneel, met je eigen Anthropic- of OpenAI-key.

Bestand → Markdown

VoxCast neemt de systeemaudio en je microfoon op, of het nu Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, een WhatsApp-gesprek of de browser is. Of neem maar één app op: muziek, systeemgeluiden en al het andere blijven dan volledig buiten het transcript. Zelfs urenlange meetings belanden als audiobestand plus transcript met tijdstempels op je schijf, volledig lokaal. VoxCast Server

Eén sterke pc. Transcriptie voor het hele netwerk.

VoxCast Server draait de spraakherkenning op één machine met een sterke GPU, en elke VoxCast in je netwerk gebruikt die: dictaat, meetings en bestandsconversie. Je audio blijft binnenshuis, zonder cloud.

  1. 1Installeer VoxCast Server op de machine met de sterke GPU. De setup registreert de Windows-service en zet de firewall voor je open.
  2. 2Open op een willekeurige pc de VoxCast-instellingen, schakel de externe server in en klik op "Server zoeken". Eén klik vult het adres in.
  3. 3Plak de API-sleutel (startmenu: "VoxCast Server API key"), opslaan, klaar. Elke transcriptie draait nu op de server.

Je opnames worden lokaal verwerkt, punt. Er is geen upload, geen clouddienst en geen account waar je stem terecht kan komen. De spraakmodellen staan op je eigen schijf, je API-key voor de AI-verfijning veilig in de Windows Credential Manager. Voor vertrouwelijke dictaten is dat de privacyvriendelijke keuze, helemaal klaar voor de AVG.

Veelgestelde vragen.

Is VoxCast gratis?
Ja. VoxCast is een gratis download voor Windows 10 en 11. Voor de spraakherkenning zelf is er geen abonnement, die draait volledig op je eigen machine. Alleen de optionele AI-verfijning gebruikt een externe aanbieder en je eigen API-key.
Draait de spraakherkenning echt offline?
Ja. De transcriptie gebeurt 100% lokaal op je eigen GPU of CPU. Zodra de modellen zijn gedownload is er geen internetverbinding meer nodig, en er wordt geen audio naar een cloud geüpload.
Welke bestandsformaten worden ondersteund?
Audio als MP3, OGG, M4A, WAV en FLAC. Documenten als PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV en afbeeldingen. Alles wordt lokaal verwerkt tot strakke Markdown.
Heb ik een GPU nodig?
Nee. VoxCast draait ook op de CPU. Met een compatibele NVIDIA-GPU is de herkenning dankzij de meegeleverde CUDA runtime wel een stuk sneller. Een aparte CUDA-installatie is niet nodig.
Welke talen ondersteunt VoxCast?
Nederlands, Engels en veel meer. VoxCast dekt zo'n 99 talen af. De spraakherkenning werkt voor elke ondersteunde taal volledig offline.
Verlaat mijn audio de machine?
Nee. Opname en transcriptie blijven volledig lokaal. Alleen als je de optionele AI-verfijning inschakelt, wordt de gegenereerde tekst naar de door jou gekozen aanbieder (Anthropic of OpenAI) gestuurd.
Hoe werkt de AI-verfijning?
Optioneel en met je eigen Anthropic- of OpenAI-API-key. Je dictaat wordt herschreven tot e-mail, antwoord of opgeruimde tekst. Eigen modi maak je zelf aan; de key staat veilig in de Windows Credential Manager.
Kan VoxCast meetings en videogesprekken transcriberen?
Ja. VoxCast neemt de systeemaudio en optioneel je microfoon op. Dat werkt met Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, WhatsApp Desktop en elke andere app, helemaal zonder plugins. Je kunt ook maar één app opnemen, zodat muziek en systeemgeluiden er volledig buiten blijven. Zelfs meetings van meerdere uren worden lokaal als audiobestand opgeslagen en verwerkt tot een transcript met tijdstempels. Belangrijk: laat deelnemers weten dat je opneemt voordat je begint; in veel landen is opnemen zonder toestemming strafbaar.

  • VoxCast keeps working when the server is not available: VoxCast now checks at every start, and regularly while it runs, whether your VoxCast Server can be reached. If it cannot, dictation, meetings and file conversion switch to this PC (GPU or CPU) automatically, and you get a notification saying so.
  • Automatic return to the server: VoxCast keeps trying the server in the background and notifies you as soon as it is reachable again, then puts the work back on the server.
  • A recording is no longer lost when the server drops out mid-dictation: the recording is transcribed on this PC instead of ending with an error.
  • Nothing in progress is interrupted: a running dictation, meeting or live session always finishes; the switch only applies to the next one.
  • Server status in the settings: the remote server section shows whether the server is reachable and where transcription is running right now.

  • Find your server with one click: Settings, Remote server, "Find server" lists every VoxCast Server on your network; one click fills in the address, no IP addresses to type.
  • Central AI enhancement: the server can hold one company AI key, so clients enhance dictations and meeting summaries through the server without entering a key of their own. Choose "Use the server" under AI enhancement.
  • Company AI modes: define enhancement prompts once on the server and everyone can pick them, alongside their own modes.
  • Encrypted connection (HTTPS): the server can serve HTTPS with a self-signed certificate; the client trusts it once by confirming its fingerprint, then remembers it.
  • Enterprise rollout: companies can ship VoxCast pre-configured and lock the server and key settings via a managed policy file.
