VoxCast Server

Un PC potente. Transcripción para toda la red.

VoxCast Server ejecuta el reconocimiento de voz en una sola máquina con una GPU potente, y cada VoxCast de tu red la aprovecha: dictado, reuniones y conversión de archivos. Tu audio se queda en casa, sin nube de por medio.

  1. 1Instala VoxCast Server en el equipo con la GPU potente. El instalador registra el servicio de Windows y abre el firewall por ti.
  2. 2En cualquier PC, abre los ajustes de VoxCast, activa el servidor remoto y pulsa "Buscar servidor". Un clic rellena la dirección.
  3. 3Pega la clave API (menú Inicio: "VoxCast Server API key"), guarda y listo. Cada transcripción corre ahora en el servidor.

¿VoxCast es gratis?
Sí. VoxCast es una descarga gratuita para Windows 10 y 11. El reconocimiento de voz en sí no tiene suscripción, corre por completo en tu equipo. Solo la mejora con IA opcional usa un proveedor externo y tu propia clave API.
¿El reconocimiento de voz funciona realmente offline?
Sí. La transcripción ocurre 100% en local, en tu propia GPU o CPU. Una vez descargados los modelos no hace falta conexión a internet, y no se sube audio a ninguna nube.
¿Qué formatos de archivo se admiten?
Audio como MP3, OGG, M4A, WAV y FLAC. Documentos como PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV e imágenes. Todo se procesa en local a Markdown limpio.
¿Necesito una GPU?
No. VoxCast también funciona en la CPU. Con una GPU NVIDIA compatible el reconocimiento es mucho más rápido gracias al CUDA runtime incluido. No hace falta una instalación de CUDA aparte.
¿Qué idiomas admite VoxCast?
Español, inglés y muchos más. VoxCast cubre unos 99 idiomas. El reconocimiento de voz funciona totalmente offline en todos los idiomas admitidos.
¿Mi audio sale de mi equipo?
No. La grabación y la transcripción se quedan totalmente en local. Solo si activas la mejora con IA opcional se envía el texto generado al proveedor que elijas (Anthropic u OpenAI).
¿Cómo funciona la mejora con IA?
Es opcional y usa tu propia clave API de Anthropic u OpenAI. Tu dictado se reescribe como correo, respuesta o texto ordenado. Puedes crear tus propios modos; la clave se guarda a salvo en el Windows Credential Manager.

  • VoxCast keeps working when the server is not available: VoxCast now checks at every start, and regularly while it runs, whether your VoxCast Server can be reached. If it cannot, dictation, meetings and file conversion switch to this PC (GPU or CPU) automatically, and you get a notification saying so.
  • Automatic return to the server: VoxCast keeps trying the server in the background and notifies you as soon as it is reachable again, then puts the work back on the server.
  • A recording is no longer lost when the server drops out mid-dictation: the recording is transcribed on this PC instead of ending with an error.
  • Nothing in progress is interrupted: a running dictation, meeting or live session always finishes; the switch only applies to the next one.
  • Server status in the settings: the remote server section shows whether the server is reachable and where transcription is running right now.

  • Find your server with one click: Settings, Remote server, "Find server" lists every VoxCast Server on your network; one click fills in the address, no IP addresses to type.
  • Central AI enhancement: the server can hold one company AI key, so clients enhance dictations and meeting summaries through the server without entering a key of their own. Choose "Use the server" under AI enhancement.
  • Company AI modes: define enhancement prompts once on the server and everyone can pick them, alongside their own modes.
  • Encrypted connection (HTTPS): the server can serve HTTPS with a self-signed certificate; the client trusts it once by confirming its fingerprint, then remembers it.
  • Enterprise rollout: companies can ship VoxCast pre-configured and lock the server and key settings via a managed policy file.

  • First recording after launch: the waveform now reacts from the first second on every system; a slow one-time component load could freeze it during the very first recording.
